Expand your Horizons - Scrap metal art sculpture

This sculpture is made of hundred of steel nuts welded together to form a life sized human head.  The head is mounted on a forged steel base and has internal LED lighting shining out from the holes in the nuts to the rear of the head.  The lighting casts an amazing pattern onto the wall behind and ceiling above.

This sculpture is symbolic of humanities capacity, to go beyond our physical limits, harnessing all that we are and all we can be, exceeding the limitations of our existence, the light bursts forth, flowing from the known to the unknown, from our present horizons to those we’ve yet to discover.
